Fort Worth teen is fourth person to die from SXSW crash injuries

KVUE -- A fatal drunk driving crash during the SXSW Festival has claimed a fourth life.
De'Andre Tatum, 18, of Fort Worth, had been in a medically induced coma at University Medical Center Brackenridge since the crash on March 13. He was pronounced dead on Thursday, March 27, according to KVUE's sister station, WFAA in Dallas.
Rashad Owens, 21, is charged with capital murder after driving drunk and fleeing police. Officers believe he intentionally drove through barriers set up for the music festival at Red River and Ninth Streets.
As of Thursday, March 27, four people were killed and more than 20 were injured.
Tatum was on Red River with his girlfriend Kurtisha Davis, who was injured but survived.
