1. Texas' first Waldorf Astoria resort to debut in popular Hill Country town. A famous hotel chain is opening its first Texas location in the Hill Country. The Waldorf Astoria is expected to open near downtown Fredericksburg in 2027.
2. Austin lands new low-cost, nonstop flights to California hotspot. Austin-Bergstrom International Airport is gaining more nonstop service to a vacation hotspot in Southern California. On June 13, low-cost carrier Frontier Airlines will launch four-day-a-week service between AUS and San Diego International Airport.
3. Stunning Dripping Springs oasis named a Vrbo top vacation rental of 2025. An extraordinary resort-style home in Dripping Springs is the sole Texas property to make vacation rental company Vrbo's list of 2025 Vacation Rentals of the Year.

4. Austin City Limits shares the setlist for its 50th anniversary broadcast. fAter 50 years of the live music TV series Austin City Limits, there's plenty to look back on. A two-hour broadcast on April 4 will gather some of the top performers over the years for one big concert.
5. 3 Central Texas parks win 2025 awards for best campgrounds in America. Camping season has begun in the Lone Star State, and three Central Texas parks have earned new recognition as must-visit destinations in the just-released 2025 Campspot Awards.
