The Sessions' Inside tracks
Taking on SXSW one showcase at a time: Exclusive new music from Suzanna Choffel
Suzanna Choffel, definitely lit up the stage for the second season of The Sessions. Filmed at The Hideout Theatre, the vibe for “Raincloud” was absolute perfection. Playing just an electric guitar and her vocals accompanied with a stand up bass, Suzanna achieves exactly what her sound should be. This Austin native uses her smoky voice and urban melody to fill this intimate theatre.
At the 2008-2009 Austin Music Awards, Suzanna took home first prize in the “Best Indie” category. Her latest album, Steady Eye Shaky Bow, was released in Spring of 2011 to many well received reviews. Choffel’s song, “Stumble”, is also currently in the running as a finalist for the 2012 International Songwriting Competition in the Performance category.
With SXSW upon us, be sure to catch Suzanna Choffel at one of her shows! Live performances will be at the Lone Star Music stage this Saturday, March 17th at St. Vincent de Paul’s at 4:30PM and later that evening at The Tap Room at Six at 8:00PM. So go and brave the crowds this year, Suzanna Choffel is well worth it!
