The Sessions' Inside tracks
A musical force to be reckoned with: Exclusive new music from Uh Huh Her
Austin’s own, Camila Grey, along with actress/musician Leisha Hailey, perform as the indie/electro-pop duo, Uh Huh Her. Making a pit stop on their 2011 “Black and Blue” EP tour, these gals put on an unbelievable show at the Sessions Factory. Shot in a back mailroom/hallway and on stage, UHH’s title track, “Black and Blue”, was the ultimate song to perform to the dancing patrons of the Factory.
Uh Huh Her released a second full-length album, Nocturnes, in Fall of 2011, and it wasn’t long before Hollywood started noticing. The single, “Same High", made it onto the soundtrack for the movie, The Kids Are All Right. Another single, “Time Stands Still”, was put on the CW’s 2012 hit show, The Secret Circle. Later this Spring, the pair will set out on their next tour with dates all over Europe and the United Kingdom.
If you partied along with the rest of the city for this past weekend’s SXSW music festivities, you might have seen this twosome out and about. Not to worry if you skipped this year, check out their twitter page for pictures and updates on everything UHH!
