First look at Waller Creek's magical transformation into Austin's favorite interactive art installation

For six magical years, Creek Show has transformed downtown's Waller Creek into an interactive art show, complete with glittering installations and dazzling light displays. On June 4, Waller Creek Conservancy, the nonprofit that organizes the show and oversees the creek's redevelopment, announced the dates for the 2019 Creek Show and offered a sneak peek at what visitors can expect. This year's show runs November 7-17 and is open nightly from 6-10 pm. Installations — six in all — run along Waller Creek from Ninth Street to 12th Street, giving Austinites of all ages a chance to stroll through a part of downtown usually left undiscovered. Like in past years, the show is free and open to all and features live music, food vendors, and more activities. --- String Theory by Boka Powell
