Cheap Music, Fast Drinks, Live Women
Hole in the Wall celebrating 40th anniversary with epic 10-day music extravaganza
Hole in the Wall, the drag's iconic bar and music venue, is celebrating 40 years of "cheap music, fast drinks and live women" with a 10-day music extravaganza.
Kicking off on Thursday, June 19 and running through Sunday June 29, Hole in the Wall will host 40 bands over the course of the celebration. With cover charges ranging from free to $15, the anniversary party is a virtual steal with performances by such bands as Fastball, Black Joe Lewis, Two Hoots & a Holler, Riverboat Gamblers, The Carper Family and Mike and the Moonpies.
A host of local breweries are also joining in the festivities. (512) Brewery, Real Ale Brewing Company and Live Oak Brewing Company are all offering limited commemorative beers in honor of this true Austin original.
