Fun Fun Fun Fest's 2013 music lineup features Snoop Dogg and Slayer
The word is out on Fun Fun Fun Fest's 2013 music lineup, which was leaked Tuesday night at an East Austin screening of Vannin' hosted by the festival. Previous lineup leaks revealed the likes of Ice-T and The Walkmen, but the latest announcement sets the full tone for the 8th annual event.
"Pound for pound, this is probably our most powerful lineup in our eight-year history," said James Moody, co-owner of Fun Fun Fun Fest in a press release. "We are staying true to our roots, while still pushing the limit on new ideas, discoveries and experiences for our fans," he continued of the lineup that includes festival veterans and up-and-comers.
Colorful headliners represent the festival's "anything goes" identity, one that has created an immersive, multi-genre music experience respected nationwide. With the likes of Snoop Dog, Slayer, MGMT, M.I.A., Jurassic 5, Ice-T and Television on the bill, Fun Fun Fun Fest caters to rock, metal and rap fans, and provides plenty of discovery opportunities for festival-goers outside of strict genre confinements.
