Eminem and Sting race to Austin as F1 concert headliners at COTA
Two iconic music headliners have been unveiled for the upcoming Formula 1 United States Grand Prix at Circuit of the Americas from October 18-19.
Sting will perform at the Germania Insurance Super Stage on Friday, October 18, as his only Texas stop on his Sting 3.0 tour. He’ll bring an all-star roster of famous hits like “Roxanne,” “Every Breath You Take,” and many more.
To date, the legendary British singer-songwriter has sold over 100 million albums worldwide and has been awarded 17 Grammys as a solo artist and while he was in the world-renowned band The Police. His 15th solo album, The Bridge, was released in 2021.
Following Sting’s (likely unforgettable) performance, Eminem will take the stage on Saturday, October 19, for his first headlining concert in five years. Concert attendees can expect to hear some new tunes and maybe some old favorites.
To honor his multi-decade-long musical career and the 25th anniversary of his iconic Slim Shady LP, the self-proclaimed “Rap God” will lay to rest his infamous persona with his upcoming summer 2024 album The Death of Slim Shady (Coup de Grace).
Other big-name artists and bands that have performed in past U.S. Grand Prix weekends include The Killers, Queen and Adam Lambert, Billy Joel, Green Day, Ed Sheeran, and more.
Tickets to the United States Grand Prix include access to the concerts. Single-day admission starts at $89, and tickets can be purchased via thecircuit.com
