Pearl Jam gifts Austin with 2 shows on very limited fall tour
Mega-rock stars Pearl Jam are hitting the road in August and September with a very limited run of only nine shows. Four of those shows will be in Texas, including two in Austin.
Pearl Jam will perform at in Austin at the Moody Center on September 18 and 19.
They're also stopping at Dickies Arena in Fort Worth on September 13 and September 15, plus three other cities: St. Paul, Chicago, and Indianapolis.
The last time Pearl Jam came to Austin as for Austin City Limits in October 2014. The band has released 11 albums in their career, most recently 2020's Gigaton. There were rumors that they would release a new album in 2023, but guitarist Stone Goddard says the album likely won't arrive before 2024.
Tickets
A special ticket pre-sale for all tour dates begins April 20 for eligible members (active as of April 19) of Pearl Jam’s fan club, Ten Club.
General public tickets will be sold through Ticketmaster Verified Fan, which requires advance registration in order to participate. Ticketmaster Verified Fan registration is now open and closes on Tuesday, April 25 at 7 pm CT. The Verified Fan sale begins on April 28 at 10 am CT. As they've done in the past, Pearl Jam will try to protect fans’ access to fairly priced tickets by providing the majority of tickets to Ten Club members, making tickets non-transferable where permitted, and by selling PJ Premium tickets.
PJ Premium seats are located in a variety of preferred locations and account for approximately 10% of ticket inventory per show. They are priced at market rate to offset increased touring costs while also keeping prices low for the rest of the ticket inventory.
The band will use all-in pricing across this tour for the first time. This means the ticket price listed is the full out-of-pocket price inclusive of fees so there are no surprises at check out.
