SXSW Lineups
SXSW 2025 shares initial comedy lineup with Lauren Lapkus, T.J. Miller

Lauren Lapkus is coming to South by Southwest in a week.
February is almost over and South by Southwest (SXSW) has slid in just under the deadline with its initial comedy festival lineup. SXSW Comedy runs from March 7-10, featuring big and upcoming names in stand-up, improv, podcasting, and more.
Alongside individual performers like Brian Simpson, Godfrey, Lauren Lapkus, Lisa Gilroy, Punkie Johnson, Sam Jay, and T.J. Miller, the lineup is also organized by special programs. That should make it easy for attendees to find something new while also catching some of their favorites.
“SXSW hosts countless filmmakers, TV showrunners, and journalists, making SXSW Comedy rather unique among comedy festivals. It’s been a joy to watch so many comedians meet people at this festival who go on to change their lives with projects that live well beyond our stage,” said head of the SXSW Comedy Festival Charlie Sotelo in a press release. “Watching that ripple effect has been both humbling and deeply satisfying. It’s been a privilege to be a part of it.”
It's also unique because unlike the Interactive, Film & TV, and Music Festivals, the Comedy Festival doesn't have its own badges. Anyone registered for any of the above festivals (or anyone holding the all-inclusive Platinum Badge) can attend Comedy events.
