Touch Girl Apple Blossom to play album release show at Tweedy's Bar

Touch Girl Apple Blossom at Tweedy’s Bar – Friday, May 15
This Friday, May 15, will be a busy one for indie pop act Touch Girl Apple Blossom, as they’ll be putting out their anticipated debut album, Graceful, and then throwing a release party for it at Tweedy’s Bar. Heartknit and Us The U.S. will open. This is a free show.
Feel Good Fest at Radio East – Saturday, May 16
Feel Good Fest will take place at Radio East this Saturday, May 16. Night Cap are set to headline, and they’ll be joined by Cigarettes At Sunset, Infinity Song, and Elijah Delgado. Tickets for the event are $35 in advance and $40 the day off. Proceeds will go to the Sims Foundation.
HAAM Benefit at Chess Club – Saturday, May 16
Chess Club will host a HAAM benefit this Saturday, May 16. The hefty lineup for the event features a noteworthy mix of indie acts, including Gummy Fang, Psuedo Desnudo, Quinn Decker And The LLC, Important Group, and Thor & Friends. Tickets for the show are $15.
Blk Odyssy at Central Machine Works – Friday, May 22
Blk Odyssy, whose acclaimed sound blends soul, hip-hop, rock, and other genres, can been seen at Central Machine Works on Friday, May 22. This is a free show – just be sure to RSVP for it here.
Calder Allen at C-Boy’s – Saturday, May 23
Calder Allen, who was just announced as a part of the lineup for this year’s ACL Fest, will play C-Boy’s on Saturday, May 23. The singer-songwriter will be joined by the Ransom Brothers, who will be celebrating the release of a new single. Tickets are $15.
Paper Sister at the 13th Floor – Friday, May 29
Ring in the arrival of Paper Sister’s anticipated debut EP at the 13th Floor on Friday, May 29. Variety, French Film, and Feedr are set to open for the indie rockers. Tickets for the show are $15.95.
Oakwood at the Mohawk – Friday, May 29
Emo vets Oakwood will put out Blurred Away, their first album in over a decade, on May 29, and then celebrate its release on that same date at the Mohawk. Openers for the evening include Nervous, Dead Butterflies, and Alwaysneverstays. Tickets are $28.
Lauren Lakis at Hotel Vegas – Friday, May 29
Lauren Lakis’ shoegazey new album, Deadlights, is already out, but the release show for it won’t hit until Friday, May 29, at Hotel Vegas. The rest of the bill for the show is made up of Jet Cemetery, Queen Serene, and Fawn. Tickets are $12.
Big Dumb Fest IV at the Mohawk – Saturday, May 30
Heavy rockers Rickshaw Billie’s Burger Patrol will put on and play Big Dumb Fest IV at the Mohawk on Saturday, May 30. American Sharks, Die Mart, Sodomy Cop, Transit Method, Buzz Electro, and Waterworld round out the lineup. You can also expect various vendors, such as Bad Larry Burger Club, Epic Jerk, and Busty's. Tickets are $31.
