The George Washington Carver Museum debuts the latest body of work by Milwaukee-based artist Aimée M. Everett at this opening event. Each piece explores the concept of Motherhood through Everett’s unique blend of abstraction, minimalistic line-making, and saturated color. Following the opening day, admission to this exhibit is free and open to the public. “Two Births” is on display through April 20.
Broadway in Austin presents Tina: The Tina Turner Musical
The extraordinary life and legacy of Tina Turner gets the musical treatment at the Bass Concert Hall. Fans can experience the inspiring trials and memorable moments centered around the Queen of Rock n’ Roll’s rise to fame and her long time at the top. Shows are scheduled through January 14.
Cirque Italia
Experience a journey through an aquatic wonderland lead by Ringmaster “Clown Rafinha” at Barton Creek Square.
