How to Make it in America
Kendra Scott hosts, advises small businesses on CNBC's Crowd Rules
Another Austinite is featured on a career-focused reality show, but this time she's not competing — she's a sage panelist and candid co-host.
Kendra Scott visited the Today Show Tuesday morning to speak about CNBC Prime's Crowd Ruleswhich will "feature three small businesses each episode that will compete in front of an audience of 100 that votes to decide who wins $50,000."
Scott was undoubtedly tapped to lead Crowd Rules for her success in turning her eponymous jewelry line, founded in 2002, into a multi-million-dollar company with products that are reportedly sold in over 1,000 boutiques worldwide.
Audiences will get to see Scott in a new light, as she doles out what she calls "tough love" and essential business tips alongside Pat Kiernan, anchor of NY1 in New York City.
The show premieres Tuesday, May 14 at 8 p.m. CST on CNBC Prime.
