Shop 'Til You Drop
Awesome Austin spots where you can grab a drink while you shop
The holidays are upon us, which means you've got lots of shopping to do. So we scoured the city for stores where you can imbibe while you shop, making it happy hour any time you head to the store.
Clothing, decor, and more
Atownon Burnet Road is populated with locally made stylish apparel for men and women, as well as pet goods, beauty products, and home decor items. The friendly staff offers wine to drink while you shop oodles of local products.
Blue Elephant Boutique on North Lamar Boulevard offers a glass of wine for shoppers browsing the selection of apparel, home items, and luxury personal products. Don't feel like leaving the house because you just opened a bottle of wine at home? Shop Blue Elephant Boutique online and have the items delivered to your doorstep.
Café Bistroat Nordstrom Barton Creek offers a view into the exhibition kitchen. It serves soups, sandwiches, pizzas, and, of course, beer and wine.
Eliza Page, with locations on Second Street and at Domain Northside, knows how to help you celebrate special occasions with beautiful custom jewelry. And we can’t think of many occasions better to celebrate with a mimosa than shopping for celebratory jewelry.
With two locations to spoil you, Luxe Apothetiqueat The Domain and on Second Street sells more than beauty products. From clothing to fun gifts, you will have fun shopping with a glass of wine here.
The Wardrobe located in Bee Cave is owned by a mother-daughter duo who love helping women find clothing that makes them happy. Clothing styles include everything from Sunday brunch attire to athletic wear for jogging around Lady Bird Lake. Just be sure to keep one hand free for a mimosa while you shop.
Grocery stores
They say it's not wise to grocery shop on an empty stomach. Thankfully, two of Austin’s favorite grocery stores, Central Market and Whole Foods Market, have a solution. Enjoy a delicious snack or meal at the Central Market Cafe or dine on something from the vast selection of prepared foods available at Whole Foods. Then, grab a glass of wine or beer and let the shopping begin.
