Brand New Boots
New Austin brand delivers Texas boots made for walkin’ — and more
It’s no secret that Austin’s burgeoning fashion industry has made its mark. This fall, Tecovas Boots joins the ranks as a debut footwear brand headquartered in the heart of Texas.
The brainchild of CEO and Founder Paul Hedrick, Tecovas is the first online-only Western boot brand based in Austin. Tecovas offers a classic luxury boot with quality you won’t believe. Crafted in León, Mexico with top-notch, custom-tanned leather and artisan techniques, Hedrick says the Tecovas mission is simple: Delivering a great boot without breaking the bank.
“I wanted boots that appeal to me and appeal to people I know,” Hedrick says. “I wanted boots that were universally appealing and I think we’ve done that without sacrificing any of the classic boot-making techniques and style.”
It’s safe to say the boots over-deliver. Aside from the ultra luxe quality, Tecovas are made with the spirit of Texas in mind. Named after a geological formation in the Palo Duro Canyon area, the boots capture the essence of the Lone Star State through classic designs, timeless style, and rugged durability. The launch collection includes two men's and women's boot styles in three signature colors that any wearer will love.
“Boots are something everyone should have in their closet,” Hedrick says. “Our goal wasn’t to revolutionize the style, it was more about going back to the true quality of the boot. Our goal is to create the best boot out there that is approachable by everyone.”
Mission accomplished, Tecovas.
