Rest, Relax, Retreat
Hill Country glamping retreat rolls out exclusive 3-day wellness and yoga weekend
Imagine your perfect weekend getaway. Does it involve glamping, the Texas Hill Country, and luxury athleisure all combined inside a yoga retreat? Well ours unapologetically does and now it's about to become a reality.
Collective Hill Country, a seasonal glamping destination on Montesino Ranch in Wimberley, is teaming up with Austin-based Outdoor Voices for a three-day yoga and meditation retreat. Running January 25-27, the weekend's activities will include yoga and meditation classes, farm-to-table meals, and other activities designed to kickstart the new year with intention.
The weekend will be led by beloved Wanderlust Yoga instructor Kate Waitzkin, who will lead five yoga classes (three of which are accompanied by a musical guest), as well as meditation practices, a journaling workshop, and an essential oils session.
"This rare weekend in the Texas Hill Country is designed to reconnect you to your deepest source of energy and guide you into experiencing more space and ease in your body and your mind," Waitzkin says. "Arriving in this state of vibrancy and clarity, you'll be guided to reconnect with your highest purpose and intentions as you move into the new year."
All that yoga and present-ness is sure to work up an appetite, so meals at Three Peaks Lodge, as well as nightly campfire s'mores rituals (a Collective signature), are also provided. Alcohol is also available a la carte.
Following full days of wellness activities, guests then retreat (get it?) to one of the luxe tents that populates the property. The 120-square-foot abodes feature king beds; wood-burning stoves; plush linens, robes, and towels; in-room coffee and tea stations; and private en-suite bathroom.
The weekend is very much in line with Collective's overall brand, which also has seasonal properties in Vail, Colorado; Hudson, New York; and Big Sky, Montana. Those spots frequently host lavish getaways centered around everything from weddings to wellness.
Pricing for the three-day affair is $2,798 per tent for a double occupancy or $1,399 per person, meaning it costs a bit to get centered. More information, pricing, and registration can be found here.
