Another hotel must-visit, Geraldine's sits inside the posh Hotel Van Zandt and promises a "bat's eye view" of Lady Bird Lake. The pool is reserved for hotel guests, but the public can dine at the poolside patio and bar.

On the seventh floor of the Fairmont Austin is a pool and bar that provides some jaw-dropping views. Many of the cocktails are available in pitchers, and a tap list of 10 craft beers shows some love to local breweries. As with many of the hotels, pool access is limited to guests only but you can still grab a seat and something to sip while you enjoy the sunset.
Speakeasy
This music-focused cocktail den is comprised of three levels, the highest of which is known as Terrace59 (count your steps heading up there). Dotted with palm trees and covered against inclement weather, the rooftop bar also offers bottle service and typically employs a DJ to keep the energy high.
