Pluckers Expands
Austin's favorite wing bar flies into hot Texas market

Favorite Austin joint Pluckers is giving San Antonio wing fans something to cheer about. The sports bar and wing restaurant will open its first Alamo City location in 2018.
Pluckers' first San Antonio-area location has been in the works for years, according to a press release. It will be located at the Forum Pointe Shopping Center at Olympia Parkway and I-35 on the city's northeast side.
"After an exhaustive five-year search, Mark [Greenberg], Dave [Paul], and I are thrilled to announce our first San Antonio location," says co-founder Sean Greenberg in the release.
"As San Antonio’s neighbor to the north, we’ve fallen in love with your beloved Spurs, but most importantly, with the amazing people who have traveled to visit our stores. No city is more vocal about its desire for a Pluckers than San Antonio."
The San Antonio outpost will feature all of Pluckers' favorite menu items, from fried pickles and macaroni to signature wings accompanied by 20 homemade sauces.
Pluckers was founded in Austin in 1995 and has grown to 18 locations, including outposts in Dallas-Fort Worth, San Marcos, Houston, and more. The wing bar has plans for further expansion into Alamo City. "For those of you located in other areas of the city, do not to worry, there will be more to come," says Greenberg.
