Despite the heat, Austin's young professionals donned their cocktail finest to mix and mingle at the CultureMap Social on Tuesday night. Held at The Market in the heart of downtown, the event was a chance for the city's best and brightest professionals to prove that once away from the office, they're also pros at partying.
In keeping with the summer theme, el Jimador crafted specialty cocktails especially for the occasion, and even concocted adult snow cones (which proved to be one of the most talked about parts of the evening). La Condesa passed refreshing bites like callos y coco ceviche and tostadas de cangrejo as well as uber popular okra fritters.
In the loft area, attendees scoped out complimentary gifts from Kendra Scott and Criquet Shirts and snagged Michael Buble tickets courtesy of Frank Erwin Center. With swag bags and margaritas in hand, attendees took in the sunset over the city from The Market's rooftop bar.
As the sun set and temperatures cooled, DJ Gatsby played tunes to make sure the party stayed hot, while an el Jimador luchador snapped photos with guests in the Smile Booth.
