A family vacation may be in order with this travel news. Via Airlines will launch seasonal nonstop service between Austin and Branson, Missouri, just in time for summer fun.

Starting May 25, travelers can take advantage of three weekly flights from Austin-Bergstrom International Airport to Branson Airport on a 50-seat jet. Introductory fares are as low as $109 one way. The service will run through September 5.

In addition to Austin, Via is also launching nonstop summer service from Branson to Houston, Dallas, Chicago, and Denver. That's big news for the entertainment hub, which is known for showcasing family-friendly shows and attractions.

This is Austin's newest nonstop flight. Frontier Airlines is launching service to Washington and San Diego in April. Southwest Airlines introduces service to Pensacola, Florida, in June and Kansas City, Missouri, in March.
