Rob Moshein
Rob Moshein was born and raised in Beverly Hills, California. While studying atCambridge University in England. he was introduced to the world of wine, andbegan learning wine with some of the great 1st Growth Bordeaux and Grand CruBurgundies of the 1960s and 70s.
While in legal practice in Beverly Hills, he built his palate, passion, andcollection, throughout the 1980s. Relocated to Austin in late 1992, left law andstarted in the wine business full time in 1995, working for Central Market, andopened the experimental upscale "flagship" Albertson's Village Market's winedepartment in West Lake, and went on to be the Chain Wine Buyer for Reuben'sWine & Spirits. He took over the venerable Austin wine "institution" The Cellaron Bee Caves Road in January 2002, and under his stewardship, was named of the"8 Great Main Street Wine Shops" by Bon Appetit Magazine in December 2002.Passionate about Fine Wines and great food, he is a writer, blogger, columnist,and consultant.
