19 brands and boutiques join Austin's big summer Le Garage Sale

The Freya Brand is a new Le Garage Sale vendor this season.

Le Garage Sale is coming back to Austin for more end-of-season and clearance deals August 29 and 30. The summer event at Palmer Events Center will bring together 130 fashion vendors and, according to sale organizers, 19 of them are new.

The twice-annual sale gathers boutiques, brands, and designers from all over Texas (and some beyond) for discounts up to around 80 percent off list price — vendors are known to make deals as the weekend progresses.

Some of the apparel comes from samples (so many garments are something around a small or medium), and most are women's styles. However, there are still plenty of options to keep other shoppers busy, including extended sizing, men's styles, accessories like shoes, jewelry, and backpacks, and more.

The 19 new vendors are as follows:

Almost all the 19 new vendors carry women's styles; the exception is The Lookout, which sells men's western apparel. DesignsBySippy, Karen Karch, Known Supply, Petticoat Junction, and Wild Strawberry Boutique also carry men's styles along with their other goods. Specialty items can be found at Beach Rock Swimwear (athletic wear) and DesignsBySippy (pet items), and children's styles are available at Lilla & Beth/Buddy Bear and Petticoat Junction.

Le Garage was still adding vendors as recently as July 28, so shoppers looking for something specific may want to check back in as the event gets closer.

Tickets to Le Garage Sale (starting at $14.95) are available via Eventbrite. VIP tickets ($29.80) include early access to the sale at 9:30 am. The general admission portion of the sale runs from 11 am to 5 pm.
