APA's Captain Planet wants to be your doggie hero
Super heroes are all around us, and sometimes they pop up in unexpected places. Captain Planet came to APA! as a stray and during his time there, he has brought joy to everyone he meets. Gentle, eager to learn and agile (APA! says his ability to jump fences is uncanny), Captain Planet would be a perfect fit for an active Austinite looking for sweet canine companion.

How APA! describes Captain Planet:
He has a happy disposition, rascally good looks and the ability to melt your heart.
What APA! says about Captain Planet:
True to his name, Captain Planet loves being outside and enjoys rolling in the grass, chasing tennis balls and lounging in the shade. He takes treats very gently and is always eager to sit for them. Though Captain Planet did come to APA! with a scar on his back, it doesn't seem to bother him and is healing nicely.
Captain Planet is very tolerant and good-natured around other dogs. He would do best in a home with a high and secure fence around the yard, as he seems to have been an Olympic high jumper in his former life. Captain Planet is also very agile and could possibly do very well in an agility course.
Why APA! says Captain Planet deserves your love:
Captain Planet deserves a forever home that includes lots of love, structure and exercise. While he may not have had the best start in life, his eyes still shine with love and his tail wags with happiness.
