Green is the new black: 11 must-have pieces for a fabulous fall wardrobe
Sep 22, 2013 | 10:57 am
Green is one of the most neglected colors in the fashion world. Perhaps that's because bright greens don't work with many skin tones. If you have a dark complexion, however, you're lucky: You can wear any shade.
For the rest of us, olive or army green is the way to go. These hues can even be considered neutrals, as they complement just about any other color, from deep purple to lemon yellow.
The more neutrals you have, the easier it is to put stylish outfits together in no time. By adding muted greens to your arsenal, you won't have to wonder if you're wearing too much black.
A purse that converts from a shoulder bag to a clutch is like two handbags in one. Wear it to the art fair as a cross-body, then carry it sans strap as you stroll through parents' night at school. ($64 Accents [http://www.accentsstyle.com/product_p/hsr129-0.htm])
