Hill Country Italian
Sneak peek inside Austin's luxurious Hotel Granduca, opening this week
The Austin hotel boom continues: After much anticipation, Hotel Granduca opens its doors on Wednesday, November 4.
Hotel Granduca brings a fresh breath of Italian air to the Texas Hill Country. Based on developer Giorgio Borlenghi's vision of an old-world Tuscan villa, the space features more than 1,000 pieces of original Italian art and is also home to a first-class restaurant, Ristorante Visconti, specializing in Northern Italian fare.
This new West Austin destination is nestled in the northwest corner of Bee Caves Road and Loop 360 near the Wild Basin Nature Preserve. "It's in an area of town that's underserved by hotels. It's only 15 minutes away from downtown and from UT," Borlenghi said in 2014. "It gives us the opportunity to create our own market and something different, offering a real alternative to people traveling to Austin."
With six meeting rooms, a grand ballroom, pool and spa area, luscious outdoor gardens, and a top-notch fitness facility, Hotel Granduca joins Austin's most elite hotels, those known for excellent service, luxury amenities, and top-tier room rates. And this hotel has already received top accolades. Hotel Granduca Austin is a member of The Leading Hotels of the World organization, an honor held by only one other Texas resort: the original Hotel Granduca in Houston.
Austin's newest boutique hotel is accepting reservations for its 194 stunning rooms, priced at over $300 per night. A stay at Hotel Granduca Austin can be reserved online now.
