Since 1967, Austin Recovery has provided compassionate and affordable addiction treatment to the Austin area. The community-supported nonprofit is dedicated to providing substance-use disorder treatment for adult men, women, and parents with small children. It offers 30- and 90-day residential treatment, outpatient care, and aftercare. The approach is individualized and realistic, with an emphasis on developing the necessary tools and coping techniques to protect recovery through cognitive behavioral therapy, the 12 Steps, and experiential therapy. Thanks to community support and partnerships with St. David’s Foundation and the City of Austin, Austin Recovery offers sliding scale and free treatment to qualified individuals.
