Pet of the Week
Help APA! find a home for Silo, the slender Doberman Pinscher beauty
This past weekend at Austin Pet's Alive!, heavy rainfall caused concerns that the shelter would flood, leading APA! to call on the community to foster a pet for the weekend. Austin answered the call for this immense "doggie sleepover" and it allowed people to get better acquainted with some of the pets looking for a forever home, including this week's featured pet, Silo.
Name: Silo
Sex: Female
Adult Size: Large
Sign: Taurus
Age: 4 years, 1 month
Spayed/Neutered: Yes
Adoption donation: $75.00

Surprise fact: Silo loves attention and will follow people anywhere. She may do best as the only dog in the family.
What APA! says about Silo:
- Silo is very well-mannered, sweet and easy-going.
- On her recent sleepover, Silo was quick to adapt to her new surroundings and was easily able to settle in for the night.
Why APA! says Silo deserves your love:
- Silo has proven to be quiet and mannerly, seems properly house-trained and already knows to stay off of the furniture. She also already knows to come when her name is called.
