Some people say music makes the world go round. Others say music is to the soul what words are to the mind. It should come as no surprise, then, that music plays such a key part in one of the most important days of your life: your wedding.

Digital music service Spotify shared the top 1,000 songs added to user wedding playlists, from the company's inception in 2008 to now, with The Washington Post. Can you guess which song ranks No. 1?

“Thinking Out Loud” by Ed Sheeran kicks things off at No. 1. It’s followed by “Marry You” by Bruno Mars and “All of Me” by John Legend.

Spotify users really love Bruno Mars. The Grammy Award-winning star pops up again in the No. 4 spot with the song “Uptown Funk” with Mark Ronson. Mars' songs “Just the Way You Are” (46), “Treasure” (65), and “Locked Out of Heaven” (89) also cracked the top 100.

Whitney Houston's “I Wanna Dance with Somebody (Who Loves Me),” Journey's “Don’t Stop Believin'," and Beyoncé "Crazy in Love” featuring Jay-Z rank Nos. 5, 6, and 7, respectively.

“A Thousand Years” by Christina Perri, “I’m Yours” by Jason Mraz, and “Hey Ya!” by OutKast round out the list.

But that's not all. Spotify also treated us to the top wedding song in each state.

It may not come as a surprise that Texas’ top choice is a country song: "She's Like Texas" by Josh Abbott Band.
