Texas Longhorns unveil 2020 football schedule against Big 12 rivals and more
The Texas Longhorns are barely halfway through the football season, but they're already rolling out the 2020 schedule. On October 22, the Big 12 Conference unveiled the 2020 Texas Football Schedule, which kicks off at home against South Florida on September 5, 2020.
During what will be the 128th season of college football at the University of Texas (a mind-boggling fact), Texas will take on UTEP, as well as Big 12 rivals Texas Tech, Baylor, and TCU.
The Longhorns' conference games begin on the road October 3 against Kansas State and end in Stillwater on November 28 against Oklahoma State.
Other highlights include a return to Baton Rouge — where the Longhorn Band will be seated in the parking lot if they're lucky — against LSU on September 12. Next year's Cotton Bowl is scheduled for October 10, when the Horns take on the Sooners in Dallas.
