Waterloo Greenway presents Creek Show
The 10th-anniversary celebration of Creek Show hosts its final days at Waterloo Park. Visitors will get the chance to explore and discover illuminated artwork, including new light-based art installations, along Waller Creek. Creek Show will be open through November 16.
Broadway in Austin presents Shucked
The Tony Award-winning musical comedy Shucked comes to Bass Concert Hall. Audiences can experience a “corn-fed, corn-bred American musical” featuring a score by Grammy Award-winning songwriters Brandy Clark and Shane McAnally and directed by Tony Award winner Jack O’Brien. Performances are scheduled through November 17.
Moody Center presents Cyndi Lauper in concert
Legendary pop music artist Cyndi Lauper stops in Austin at the Moody Center as part of her Girls Just Wanna Have Fun Farewell Tour. Lauper has released 12 albums throughout her career and is best known for hit songs including “Time After Time” and “True Colors.”

Blue Genie Art Bazaar
Kickstart your holiday shopping for local, unique, and handmade gifts at the return of Blue Genie Art Bazaar. Visitors can browse and shop wall-to-wall local vendors, enjoy live music, indulge in fresh treats, and more. The bazaar is open through December 24 at Austin Community College: Highland Campus. Admission is free and open to the public.
Moody Center presents Creed in concert
Rock band Creed brings their Summer of ‘99 Tour to Moody Center. Fans can expect a setlist that spans the band’s four-album discography. Creed will be joined by special guests 3 Doors Down and Mammoth WVH.

29th Annual Texas Book Festival
The Texas Book Festival takes over Downtown Austin, the Texas Capitol, and other local venues with a full schedule of programming for readers of all ages. Highlights of the two-day event include book signings, a Saturday night Lit Crawl, youth and bilingual activities, cooking demonstrations, food trucks, and more. This year’s confirmed guest authors include Matthew McConaughey, Malcolm Gladwell, Rumaan Alam, and Jay Ellis. Admission is free and open to the public.

Chelsea Handler: Little Big Bitch Tour
Comedian and television personality Chelsea Handler takes look back at her comedic origin story onstage at Austin City Limits Live (ACL Live). She is best known for her hosting stints on The Chelsea Handler Show in 2006 and 2007, and on Chelsea Lately from 2007 to 2014. A select number of tickets are available.
Moody Center presents Mariah Carey in concert
Musical superstar and self-proclaimed "Queen of Christmas" Mariah Carey performs live at Moody Center. The Grammy-winning singer comes to Austin as part of her Mariah Carey’s Christmas Time tour. Fans can expect a selection of Carey’s holiday classics, including the iconic single, "All I Want For Christmas Is You,” as well as other popular hits.
