Legendary pop rock duo Daryl Hall and John Oates will come to Austin as part of a North American summer tour with Squeeze and KT Tunstall. The band plays Circuit of The Americas' Germania Insurance Amphitheater on June 19.
The tour will kick off on May 29 at Hollywood Bowl in Los Angeles, traveling to 32 cities in just over two months. In addition to the Austin stop, the band makes its way to Fort Worth June 17 and Houston on June 21.
Hall & Oates have sold more albums than any other duo in music history, starting with 1972’s Whole Oats and going all the way up to their 2006 Christmas album, Home for Christmas. They've notched six No. 1 singles in their career, including “Rich Girl,” “Kiss on My List,” “Private Eyes,” “I Can’t Go For That (No Can Do),” “Maneater,” and “Out of Touch,” in addition to numerous top 10 singles.
Among other honors, the duo has been inducted into Songwriters Hall of Fame and Rock and Roll Hall of Fame, and received a star on the Hollywood Walk of Fame.
