Moontower Comedy Fest adds another round of big names to 2018 lineup
Arguably our (well, my) favorite festival, Moontower Comedy Festival has rolled out another batch of killer headliners for its 2018 lineup. Joining the already announced Mike Birbiglia, Janeane Garafalo, Tiffany Haddish, Colin Quinn, and "Weird Al" Yankovic on the bill are comedy stars Tig Notaro, Jo Koy, David Cross, Nikki Glaser, Ali Siddiq, and the podcast Shmanners.
Tig Notaro, who skyrocketed to fame with her famous "Hello, I Have Cancer" routine, most recently starred in the critically acclaimed Amazon series One Mississippi. The comedian takes to the Paramount Theatre stage on April 19 at 7 pm.
Joining Notaro at the Paramount is Jo Koy, who kicks off the festival on April 18, and Moontower alum David Cross, who brings his An Evening for The Comedy Resistance Starring David Cross and Special Guests to the Paramount on April 20.
Coming to the Stateside Theatre on April 20 is Ali Siddiq, who performs at 7 pm, followed by Nikki Glaser's set at 9:30 pm.
Moontower Comedy Festival runs April 18-21 and takes place in comedy clubs and music venues across the city. Kevin Barnett, Kurt Braunohler, SNL writers Sam Jay and Julio Torres, Jackie Kashian, Andy Kindler, Emily Heller, The Sklar Brothers, Jon Rudnitsky, Kurt Metzger, Tom Rhodes, Judah Friedlander, and more are scheduled to appear in satellite spaces.
Weekend badges start at $99 and are available here. For a full list of performers, please go here.
