Austin Film Society presents Dazed and Confused
AFS Cinema celebrates the release of its first-ever house beer, Hazed and Confused IPA. Attendees can get a first taste of the new brew while enjoying a screening of the classic Austin film, Dazed and Confused. Director Richard Linklater will provide an exclusive video introduction to the Texas Film Hall of Fame movie. Select tickets still available.
The Driskill presents Texas Independence Day Celebration
Celebrate cowboy boots, pecans, and all other things Lone Star State at The Driskill Hotel. Guests can enjoy local beers, live music, Texas-shaped pecan waffles, an Allen’s Boots pop-up, whiskey tastings, and more. Ross Ramsey, executive editor of The Texas Tribune, will host the Texas-themed Trivia Night, which pits teams against each other for prizes and the ultimate title of “True Texan.”
AWOLNATION in concert with Nothing But Thieves
Alternative rock band AWOLNATION is heading to Stubb’s Bar-B-Q. Hear songs from the band’s newest album, Here Come The Runts, at one of Austin’s most iconic music venues. Fellow rockers Nothing But Thieves are in the opening slot.

Lone Star Court and Outdoor Voices presents Stretch, Sip, and Socialize
Domain oasis Lone Star Court and Austin-based Outdoor Voices team up for a free yoga class and post-workout brunch cocktails. Attendees will enjoy a morning flow taught by beloved Wanderlust Yoga instructor Kate Waitzkin, an OV swag bag, and a complimentary Deep Mimosa featuring Deep Eddy’s Ruby Red Vodka. The ABC Kite Fest returns for another year of high-flyin' fun at Zilker Park. This all-day event is packed with activities for all ages including a kite flying contest and showcase, children’s music concert, a fun run, and much more. Bring your kite and be a part of this local tradition. Admission is free.
