Garage punk upstarts Gus Baldwin And The Sketch recently released their debut album, The Sketch, and they’ll be celebrating its arrival at the 29th St. Ballroom this Thursday, February 20. The sure-to-be loud evening is rounded out by Grocery Bag, Blank Hellscape, and Guiding Light. Tickets are just $12.
TC Superstar at Hotel Vegas – Friday, February 21
TC Superstar are set to dance the night away at Hotel Vegas this Friday, February 21. The rest of the show is noteworthy as well, as it features Mockjaw, the debut appearance of Blush Fantasy, and Candy Riot, who will be ringing in the release of a covers EP titled Mirrors. Tickets are $15.
Nakia at Saxon Pub – Friday, February 21
Head to Saxon Pub this Friday, February 21, for Nakia’s Birthday Bash. The soulful singer-songwriter, along with his band the Never Not Now, will perform selections from across his 20-plus-year career, plus tracks from his upcoming synth-rock-inspired album, Signal. Tickets are $20 in advance, $25 the day of.
Booher at the Mohawk – Wednesday, February 26
Wednesday, February 26 is going to be a busy one for indie rock vets Booher. They’re not only putting out a new single, “Might Be Tonight Son,” but they’re also going to perform at the Mohawk. They’ll be joined by Small Engine Fire and Daybed. Tickets for the show are $12.
Modernform at the Mohawk – Thursday, February 27
Join Modernform at the Mohawk on Thursday, February 27, as they welcome their anticipated debut album, Sculpture Garden, into the world. The post-punk/new wave-inspired band will be joined by Alma Muñeca and Care About. Tickets are $12.
