ACL Fest Lineup
Austin City Limits Music Festival releases big-name lineup for 2017 — including Jay-Z
UPDATE: Less than 10 hours after Austin City Music Festival dropped its 2017 lineup, programmers added one more big name to the list of headliners: Jay-Z. The hip-hop mogul will play both weekends of ACL Fest. With sister-in-law Solange on the bill, all we're missing is the one-and-only Beyoncé. This article has been updated to reflect the new lineup.

Austin City Limits Music Festival is back with big names for its 16th year. On May 4, festival programmers ended the headliner guessing game by releasing the full 2017 lineup.
Jay- Z, Red Hot Chili Peppers, Chance the Rapper, The Killers, Gorillaz, Martin Garrix, and The xx are among this year's headliners. Other noteworthy acts on the bill include Ice Cube, Ryan Adams, Solange, The Head and the Heart, Run the Jewels, and Foster the People.
Most artists will perform during both weekends of ACL Fest, taking place October 6-8 and 13-15 at Zilker Park. Cut Copy, Royal Blood, Alison Wonderland, and Mutemath will play the first weekend only; Glass Animals, O. A. R., Getter, Eagles of Death Metal, and Thundercat are among those scheduled for the second weekend only.
As is tradition with the Austin-born festival, local bands pepper each weekend's lineup. Austin performers include Spoon, The Black Angels, The Band of Heathens, The Wild Now, Carson McHone, Annabelle Chairlegs, and more.
Three-day passes go on sale at 10 am Thursday, May 4, for $255; VIP and Platinum weekend passes are available for $1,100 and $3,600, respectively. One-day tickets — general admission, VIP, and Platinum — will be released at a later date.
To honor the 100th anniversary of Zilker Park, ACL Fest is donating $6.3 million to the park and giving away 100 three-day passes. Get more information here.
