Fun Fun Fun Lineup
Fun Fun Fun Fest announces killer 2015 lineup featuring Jane's Addiction and Wu-Tang Clan
Brace yourselves: Fun Fun Fun Fest is coming. And for its 10th anniversary, the favorite Austin festival is pulling out all the stops.
On Thursday, the festival announced its 2015 headliners, including Wu-Tang Clan; D'Angelo and The Vanguard; Venom; and Jane's Addiction, who will be performing their Ritual de lo Habitual album. Other big names on the list are CHVRCHES, Chromeo, NOFX, Cheap Trick, Schoolboy Q, Future Islands, Toro y Moi, Coheed and Cambria, Grimes, ODESZA, Neon Indian and more.
Bill Nye announced the lineup in a hilarious video bit. "What if I told you that Fun Fun Fun Fest is the funnest festival on the face of the Earth — and I can prove it using the science of fun," asks Nye. "I know what you're thinking. 'The science of fun? Is that even real?' Of course it is! After all, I'm Bill Nye the science ... man."
The fun at this year's Fun Fun Fun Fest can be measured by "Quantitative Fun Observations," says Nye, such as D'Angelo's abs, a wrestling ring, official make out zones and "Fun Fun funnel cakes."
Fun Fun Fun Fest returns to Auditorium Shores November 6-8. Other fun factors will be announced later this year, including the comedy lineup, FFF NITES schedule and programming for the Skate & Ride section.
Three-day passes are on sale now for $199; an Ultimate Smooth Pass will set you back $450.
