Hit show Undercover Boss films Bikinis breastaurant CEO for new episode
Doug Guller, CEO of Bikinis Sports Bar & Grill, an Austin-based chain of breastaurants, knows the importance of publicity. After all, this is the man who bought a Central Texas ghost town and turned it into a tourist destination called Bikinis, Texas. On December 28, Guller is stepping back into the spotlight, this time appearing on an episode of the CBS hit Undercover Boss.
Now in its sixth season, Undercover Boss takes executives out of the office and gives them an inside look at their company's workforce. For Guller's episode, which was shot at Bikinis restaurants across Texas, viewers will see the undercover CEO take on roles including wait staff and bartender.
"In the spirit of trying new things, I thought it would be a pretty cool adventure," Guller tells CultureMap about filming Undercover Boss. "It gets me behind the scenes, which I haven't been able to do since we opened. [It gives] a different perspective." Among the things Guller encounters is a troublesome employee who over serves an intoxicated customer and refuses to wear the signature bikini top uniform.
Guller's episode of Undercover Boss will appear on CBS on Sunday, December 28 at 7 pm and will be celebrated with viewing parties at all Bikinis locations from 6-8 pm.
