'Tis the Season
More than just art: Not-to-miss music at the 37th annual Armadillo ChristmasBazaar
The Armadillo Christmas Bazaar is a time-honored Austin tradition, currently celebrating its 37th season. Featuring 160 artists, the bazaar runs the gamut from handmade crafts to high-end art. Everything from leatherwork, woodwork and jewelry to photography, ceramics and home furnishings is on hand.
But like any true Live Music Capital tradition, it's more than just a holiday shopping hub. In addition to ushering in the city's finest craftsmen and creators, the Armadillo Christmas Bazaar also welcomes a host of Austin’s favorite musicians to its stage, featuring multiple performances each day.
With six more days of the annual bazaar to go, there's plenty of time left to step into the Palmer Events Center, peruse handcrafted artisan gifts, then grab a beer and catch one — or more — of these not-to-miss shows.
