Can you remember who won the eighth, ninth or 10th season ofAmerican Idol? We can’t either. That doesn’t mean that you shouldn’t try to be the 11th season champion, though!
The show is stopping at Reliant Park in Houston to hold auditions on Friday and if you plan to make the three hour drive, you better get going. Idol hopefuls are already lining up to register. Wristbands are required for the big day. Distribution began at 7 a.m. today until will stop at 8 a.m. on Friday. Though would-be-contestants will not be allowed to camp out from now until Friday morning, expect to wait in an extremely long line audition day.
American Idol judges Jennifer Lopez, Steven Tyler and Randy Jackson and host Ryan Seacrest attended a recent audition in Savannah.
And, if you're there, keep a look out for CultureMap video reporter on Friday too. If Randy Jackson doesn’t recruit you onto the show, you could still make it CultureMap big. Or at least, funny.
