Chaparelle at Scoot Inn – Friday, April 4
Get to the Scoot Inn this Friday, April 4, to see Chaparelle, the alt-country supergroup that consists of singer-songwriters Zella Day, Jesse Woods, and Beau Bedford. The band, who are gearing up to release their debut album, Western Pleasure, on April 18, will be joined by Angel White and Sydney Quiseng. Tickets are $31.
Dossey at the Mohawk – Saturday, April 5
The ever-versatile Dossey is set to put out her punk-leaning EPCrying In Public this Friday, and will then ring in its release on the indoor stage at the Mohawk the following night — Saturday, April 5. Support for the evening includes Primo The Alien, Nolo, and Europa Boys. Tickets are $15.
Gaza Strip Benefit at Hotel Vegas – Sunday, April 6
Hotel Vegas will host From Rubble To Redemption — A Gaza Strip Benefit this Sunday, April 6. The event, which was organized by ATX Events for Palestine, will feature a bevy of world music acts, including The Point, Viva Palestina Orchestra, Atash, and Javier. Cover will be $15 at the door.
Hovvdy at the Mohawk – Wednesday, April 9
Hovvdy will play outside at the Mohawk on Wednesday, April 9. Runo Plum will open for the indie pop darlings who are currently touring in support of the self-titled double album that they put out last summer. Tickets are $20.
Nané at the Parish – Friday, April 11
Pay tribute to and celebrate the late Nané frontman Daniel Sahad at Nané Day at the Parish on Friday, April 11. The band will perform with Quentin Arispe on vocals and support at the show will be provided by Money Chicha. Tickets are $20.
Ram Vela & The Easy Targets – Saturday, April 12
Longtime local rocker Ram Vela and his band The Easy Targets will celebrate the release of a new two-song 7” at Hotel Vegas on Saturday, April 12. Topdown will kick off this early show, which has doors at 6 pm and music starting at 7:15 pm. Cover will be $12 at the door.
