Canadian singer/songwriter Bryan Adams, who's been entertaining audiences on stage and screen for four decades, is coming to Austin as part of his "So Happy It Hurts Tour," stopping at Moody Center on Thursday, February 1, 2024.

This extension of the 2023 tour kicks off January 20 in Billings, Montana, and ends March 20 with a show in Syracuse, New York. Adams will visit four Texas cities during this leg — El Paso, Austin, Corpus Christi, and Hidalgo (dates below) — before dipping into Mexico for two shows.

Adams is touring in support of his 15th studio album, So Happy It Hurts, which was released March 11, 2022 via BMG. The album was nominated for Best Rock Performance at the 2023 Grammy awards, which happened while Adams was on the earlier stage of the tour.

Adams also is riding the wave as the lyricist for Pretty Woman – The Musical, the Broadway musical based on the famed Julia Roberts-Richard Gere rom-com. The touring musical draw huge crowds when it stopped in Houston for a limited run.

For the original tour, Adams was touring with rock icon Joan Jett. This time, he's joined by Dave Stewart of Eurythmics, who is billed as "Eurythmics Songbook feat. Dave Stewart" — perhaps an extension of his own tour by the same name, although that tour's website does not display an Austin date.

In Stewart's full-length tour, he was playing full-length shows of well-loved Eurythmics songs like "Sweet Dreams (Are Made of This)" and "Here Comes the Rain Again." He played each song with an all-female backing band.

Tickets for the new dates on the "So Happy It Hurts Tour" go on artist presale on Tuesday, November 14 at 10 am. Moody Center is holding its own presale on Thursday, November 16, at 10 am. General sales begin at Friday, November 17, at 10 am via ticketmaster.com.
