Estilo's New Duds
Stylish Austin boutique introduces its very own clothing collection
After more than a decade as a trusted shopping destination, Estilo is launching its own clothing line to fill the racks. The Estilo Austin line features organic cotton, casual basics and outerwear, and an effortless Austin aesthetic.
Estilo owner Stephanie Coultress O’Neill says the capsule collection is the product of her background in retail and her love of fashion. “After working with clients for so many years, I started to understand the need for basic pieces in every wardrobe,” O’Neill says. “Everyone was looking for easy, comfortable pieces that you can wear daily, but that are also versatile.”
Staple pieces with a relaxed vibe — knit tops, bralettes, shirt dresses, sweaters, leggings, and jackets — come in muted neutral tones. “Austin likes to be stylish but functional and look effortless,” O’Neill says. “The Estilo line embodies that. They are simple everyday pieces that may have a little detail or edge that makes it more than just your basic T-shirt or jacket.”
Although the line’s cool and simple appeal is a major plus, it’s the ethical and high-quality materials that sets the brand apart. All items are made in the U.S. from organic cotton, using non-toxic, natural vegetable dyes.
“It was very important to me to have locally produced and environmentally friendly products,” O’Neill says. “Cotton basics are a staple for everyone’s wardrobe. Estilo Austin is making it easier to feel comfortable and look effortless.”
Pieces range from $35 to $198, and items can be purchased online or in store. The public is invited to the boutique on Wednesday, December 14, from 6-8 pm to celebrate one year at the Tarrytown location with sips, light bites, and a DJ.
