Highly anticipated South Congress Hotel sets opening date for posh new digs
Posh new digs are coming to iconic South Congress Avenue after Labor Day. The highly anticipated South Congress Hotel has announced its official opening date: Tuesday, September 8.
The hotel boasts 71 guest rooms and 12 suites, each outfitted with custom-designed furniture and floor-to-ceiling windows. The locally owned, designed and developed hotel also promises Aesop bath products, Matteo linens, a locally curated minibar, and a rooftop pool and bar for guests. oto
Anyone strolling SoCo can enjoy the new hotel's lobby bar and lounge, which will serve a light-food menu by Café No Sé. The cafe, which will be open for breakfast, lunch, dinner, brunch and late-night cuisine, specializes in California-inspired American fare from Executive Chef Michael Paley and Executive Pastry Chef Amanda Rockman.
More additions to the South Congress Hotel are on the horizon. Central Standard American grill and specialty retail stores are slated to open later in September. Paul Qui's 12-seat Japanese restaurant, Otoko, and a coffee shop and cold pressed juice bar, Mañana, will follow.
Guests can book rooms for the South Congress Hotel online.
