Austin's 4 most expensive homes for rent come with shocking price tags
Austin's booming housing market has led to more than a few complaints about high rent prices, but paying $15,000 per month? That's unheard of — unless you reside in one of these Austin abodes.
RENTCafé's has released a list of the most expensive rental properties in the state, including four pricey Austin palaces.
Starting out at the "low" end of the spectrum is a modern Westlake home designed by Alter Studio. For $15,000 per month, you get four bedrooms, three full bathrooms, and three half baths decked out in designer touches. The house also comes with a heated pool (complete with its own waterfall) as well as an outdoor kitchen and more than three acres of surrounding property.
For the high rollers looking for something central, this Four Seasons condo might do the trick. Throughout the luxurious open floor plan of this corner unit you'll find tons of natural light and pristine views of downtown. The fully furnished three-bedroom space also comes with three and a half baths, three parking spaces (which is a big deal downtown), and a monthly price tag of $17,500.
The two most expensive local homes on the list take us out of downtown and into the Hill Country. If you're willing to pay $18,000 per month, you can live in a sprawling estate between Rollingwood and Bee Cave. The warm interior of this four-bedroom house features a country touch and comes furnished if you desire. Perks include five bathrooms, a decked out kitchen, a wine room, a sport court, and a sparkling pool.
For the same price you can also snag a waterfront property just a little further west. The rustic abode on Lake Austin comes with tons of windows to enjoy the surrounding Hill Country views. The price of $18,000 per month includes high ceilings, a gourmet kitchen, three fireplaces, a boat deck, and a three-care garage. And did we mention that this also comes fully furnished?
