Jonas Brothers' Texas manse can be yours for a cool $3.2 million
Anyone with around $3.2 million to burn can live like the Jonas Brothers did in the upscale Tarrant County town of Westlake. The Disney stars-turned-heartthrobs have put their 7,360-square-foot manse at 1724 Wisteria Way on the market with Ebby Halliday's Lott Group. Oh and that's a reduced price: The original was $3.4 million.
So what do you get for that besides the thrill of telling house guests who once owned the joint? (At least teen girls will appreciate it.) How about six bedrooms, six full and one half-bath, kitchen with steam oven and coffee bar, three living areas, two dining areas, music room, media room and game room. Plus there is that outdoor oasis replete with saltwater pool, loggia, pergola, and fab view of the Tom Fazio-designed golf course within this gated community.
The place is, shall we say, rugged chic: lots of wood, from gleaming floors to beams, and rough-hewn stonework, around the fireplace and the range in the kitchen. Right now the space is also decked out with leather galore, cowboy scenes and animal skulls. It's all very tasteful, of course, so as not to appear kitschy. Heck, even the laundry room is noteworthy, with an obscene amount of cabinetry and an island in addition to room for the washer/dryer and a fridge.
The bros caused a stir when they left LA and — with a little help from Mom — bought this fanciness in 2008; the asking price was close to $2.9 million at the time.
Listing agent Joan Lott told the Dallas Business Journal that the boys haven't spent much time in Westlake lately because "they all have other places on different coasts where they live."
