Austin Food + Wine Festival reveals enticing 2018 all-star lineup
Music fans have Austin City Limits Fest, tech geeks have SXSW, and comedy lovers have Moontower, but there’s no bigger event for Austin’s many food obsessives than the Austin Food + Wine Festival. On January 18, organizers announced the lineup for the 2018 shindig to be held at Fair Market and Auditorium Shores on April 27-29.
Tickets are now on sale for the popular event, featuring three days of cooking demonstrations, book signings, dinner parties, exclusive tastings, and appearances from some of the nation’s most famous chefs.
This year, the team is shaking things up with a few changes, including moving chef and AFWF partner Tim Love’s popular Chillin' and Grillin' demonstrations to Friday, April 27 for All-In ticket holders. The event tickets are $250 and must be purchased separately from the festival passes.
Rock Your Taco, the signature tasting event and contest, will feature iconic chef and cookbook author Lidia Bastianich on the judging panel and live music from local luminary Gina Chavez.
