Domain Domination
4 new restaurant and bar concepts planned for next phase of The Domain
A slew of new restaurants and bars will pop up at the next phase of The Domain in North Austin. On Monday, Austin-based Union Venture Group announced the groundbreaking for four concepts that will be part of the blossoming Rock Rose portion of the development.
The distinct concepts, which aim to please a wide range of entertainment tastes, range from a dance club to a sports bar.
The Rose Room, an upscale, multi-level dance club, is described as the "flagship party spot" of Rock Rose. Saint Genevieve, an upscale lounge, features globally inspired shared plates and handcrafted cocktails. 77°, a rooftop bar, promises laid-back vibes and rum cocktails. Jack & Ginger's Irish Pub is a sports bar concept boasting 82 beers on tap.
"We are so looking forward to bringing these four unique concepts to Austin’s newest hot spot at Rock Rose," said Darren Van Delden of Union Venture Group, which currently operates The Park at The Domain. "Austin’s been such a supportive community to us, and we look forward to expanding our properties at The Domain."
The new concepts are slated to open in the Rock Rose development this fall. The new phase of The Domain will also house hometown favorites like East Side King, Birds Barbershop and Salvation Pizza.
"Rock Rose will offer the charm and energy of South Congress, East Austin and West Sixth Street with the added benefits of easy access and plentiful parking," said Union Venture Group.
