Skipping the Line
Franklin Barbecue makes it easier than ever to skip the line
Good news for barbecue aficionados: Franklin Barbecue is making it easier to get your hands on its famous brisket.
To accommodate demand for its pre-order service, Franklin has increased the number of pre-orders it takes, introduced a new trailer, and added more pick-up times, so that it's easier than ever to skip the line. There's also a new website for pre-orders, but the process is the same.
Need a refresher? Here's how it works: Franklin accepts pre-orders beginning at 9 am on the first Monday of the month for the following month. For example, September reservations opened on Monday, August 1. Select the date for your order, then choose a pick-up time (now every half-hour from 10:30 am-12:30 pm).
There is a 5-pound minimum and a 30-pound maximum on each pre-order, and a $75 deposit is required. You can also order sides and pie.
Most dates in September — excluding Saturdays — still have availability. Secure your spot now, and prepare for a famous barbecue feast (without the wait).
