With a growing number of delivery apps, it's easier than ever to get what you want without leaving the house. GoBooze, the latest alcohol delivery service to hit the scene, launched in Austin on Tuesday, December 13.

GoBooze is a branch of goPuff, an on-demand convenience store delivery service serving 10 U.S. markets, including Austin.

Alcohol can be ordered through the goPuff app (available for iPhone and Android users) or online via the website. Beer and wine are available now; hard liquor, spirits, and expanded local offerings will roll out in the next few months. The current beer lineup ranges from national brands to local breweries like Real Ale Brewing Company and Oasis Texas Brewing Company. The wine selection is equally varied, with an emphasis on value offerings.

Unlike other delivery services, goPuff operates a warehouse in each market that it serves. This means faster and more efficient service, as goPuff doesn't rely on local retail locations.

Deliveries, which are made in 30 minutes or less, can be placed between noon and midnight daily, and 1 am on Sundays. The service charges a flat fee of $1.95, which is waived if your order total is $49 or more.

The service area currently includes a large area of Austin, covering neighborhoods from Crestview in North Central Austin to South Austin's St. Edward's University and East Riverside to the area north of Windsor Park.
