Hip Austin crowd paints the town at most colorful CultureMap Social
On Tuesday, Austin's young professionals came decked out in white to the very colorful CultureMap Social: Art Edition. Throughout the evening, Palm Door on Sabine was transformed from a blank canvas into a vibrant wonderland.
The fun mixer featured live painting from Xavier Schipani, a nod to our charity partner, Art Alliance Austin. Guests contributed their own flair at several interactive art stations, and when they weren't getting creative with Live A Great Story and Big Ass Canvas, partygoers added flowers from Clementine botanical studio to a stunning outdoor floral wall.
For those daring enough to dip into color, Priv stylists sussed up revelers with snazzy hairdos and dazzling nail art. Afterward, they showed off their new looks at a fun photo both manned by My Event is the Bomb (check out the amazing pics here).
Deep Ellum Brewing Co. satisfied thirsty Austinites with craft cans of Dallas Blonde, Deep Ellum IPA, and Easy Peasy. In addition to Hennessy cocktails being served at the bar, guests could head to the Hennessy Lounge and create their own creation.
Aspiring mixologists were invited to step up to the Henessy bar and put their new drink-making skills to the test in a lively cocktail competition overseen by Hennessy master mixologist Javier Flores. The winning cocktail went to Rhonda Bly with her cocktail Ginger and the Professor (made with Hennessy, lime, ginger ale, and basil). Bly won an exclusive happy hour — featuring her winning cocktail — for herself and 15 friends.
The one-and-only DJ uLOVEi spun funky tunes throughout the evening, inspiring a few Austinites to bust out their dance moves. Pink Avocado Catering kept everyone fueled with "Art You Can Eat" through a doughnut-decorating station and a scrumptious avocado bar with toppings like queso, mango pico de gallo, and salsa.
Lucky guests walked away with sweet swag like Kendra Scott earrings, Criquet Shirts, beard oil and solid cologne from ulio&jack, and awesome T-shirts courtesy of Live A Great Story.
